Ficlatté

Ficlatté is a micro-fiction site where users can write very short stories of 1056 characters or fewer. Other users may then extend a story by writing a prequel or a sequel, which then may be extended by additional prequels and sequels.

Ficlatté is written in Python, powered by the Django framework, and designed with Bootstrap to make it friendly for both desktop and mobile use. The color scheme is designed to provide a coffee shop style aesthetic. The site is built on a model-view-controller (MVC) framework. Dragonspire Media has provided significant improvements to the site, including code refactorization, Challenge and Prompt modules, personal messaging, custom graphics, secure authentication, to name a few.
